I am currently woking within the forex market as a traders assistant but am now ready to become a trader?

Please can someone give me some advice where to start I feel I have reached the end in my current role so would like something with more responsibility and with a good salary and benefits. I was thinking possibly a role as an fx trader please advise

I suggest you to use Marketiva, which is a very good platform to start trading with and very easy to use.

Marketiva gives you 5$ real to start trading so you don’t have to deposit and if you made profit from it you can cash out, this is why it’s very good for beginners. Their platform is very easy to use and they have support during trading hours for your questions, doubts etc.

Invest in some of the free trading platforms to have a practice on tarding the markets.

and check if you can find any job opportunities there.
